What we plan to do 

Gear Homestead is currently closed but has a long-standing reputation in Wellington for being one of the premier wedding and events venues. Boasting one of the best views of Porirua inlet, Gear Homestead is an elegant historic home set in photogenic gardens. We plan to bring the venue back to its former glory, focusing our efforts on all forms of events. Weddings, birthday parties, Christmas events, corporate events and more. With In House Catering, we will be able to offer clients fully inclusive event packages, not only providing elevated and tasty cuisine but taking care of all aspects of the events from staffing and hire ware to beverage services. 

Alongside this operation, we will be opening a cocktail bar and eatery in early 2025, offering a higher class of beverages and cocktails from local suppliers. This will be accompanied by a tapas-style menu so make sure you are following our social pages to keep up to date with our launch date.
